Iron Sharpens Iron [Scripture]
After I had joined the men’s group at my church, this was the first phrase I heard that resonated with me.
I wanted to be among a group of “seasoned” men of faith to challenge me to rise to new heights and levels of self growth. Maybe men who had been broken. Maybe some who had not known what it was like to live with brokenness. With depression. With a mental condition.
Either way, I was accepted with open arms and never judged. I was supported through my earthly imperfections. For that I am thankful. For that I am humbled.
