Hopefulness [POETRY]

27 Jun

Really felt someone needed to hear this today. Thank you for passing it on. X

Poem entitled, Hopefulness.

A little thought of hopefulness

Went out for you today.

I see you’ve grown discouraged.

I’ve seen you’ve been away.

I miss you and I wonder.

If you really are okay.

And that I want to see you.

Perhaps we’ll talk today?

Maybe in a little while.

I can hear your voice.

To tell you that I love you friend.

Amidst the strife and noise.

I miss you and I wonder.

If you really are okay.

And that I want to see you.

Perhaps we’ll talk today.

May this touch those that are in need today as I was of a simple positive when battling so hard to beat the negative

Thank you for posting this Surviving’ Much needed reminder of positive thoughts. Been drowning out the pain as much as humanly possible without drinking or self harm. This made me think of all the blessings opposed to the horrid memories. Hope you are doing well and having a good Saturday.

Never lose hope my fellow warrior. “This too shall pass”. It may not feel like it but the torture is only temporary. As a community we’ve lived this many times and know that it is fleeting. We live with it. We survive through it. We overcome because we have hopefulness. And when we don’t we know that we can turn to others here, connect with them, lean on them, and they will selflessly share our pain. “Lean on me. When you’re not strong. I’ll be your friend. I’ll help you carry on…lean on me.” big hugs, my friend XXXXX
